Our Heurigen
Near and dear to our hearts is our Heurigen in Moedling, Friedrich-Schillerstraße 6. Near the center and easily accessible, the Heurigen is a welcome destination for young and old. Our Heurigen sits outside the gates of Vienna and is open several times throughout the year.
During the published opening schedule, our Heuriger is open:
Monday to Friday from 3 p.m. to midnight
Saturday, Sunday, and Public Holidays from 11 a.m. to midnight

In summer, the idyllic garden with old trees invites you to enjoy the warm nights. Our Heurigen with its cozy rooms and niches offers the perfect atmosphere for a delightful evening. Even Crown Prince Rudolf was once an admirer.
Imperial guest: Crown Prince Rudolf
Crown Prince Rudolf appreciated the wines in the south of Vienna already. In Moedling he enjoyed several brakes when he was on his way from the Imperial Palace in Vienna to his hunting lodge in Mayerling. His visits are documented by the diary entries of his coachman “Bratfisch”.
“… In the evening Rudolf and Mizzi often visited Bratfisch in his apartment and ate typical Austrian food there. All three of them then set off for a local wine tavern where Bratfisch sang or whistled folk songs, and at times a couplet that Rudolf had written for Mizzi: “That’s not what Goethe wrote. Playground:
A large part of our garden is dedicated to the little ones. Children are invited to play and have fun.
Of course, there is a slide and other playground equipment.
